Beyonce may soon be crazy in love with Las Vegas; the singer-actress is working towards a residency deal with the Wynn Las Vegas resort, Billboard reports.
The hotel’s rep tells the magazine that negotiations to bring the superstar to Vegas are still in the early stages. Beyonce has only just begun preliminary talks with the resort and no contracts have been signed.
Incidentally, the pop star’s recently released concert CD/DVD, I Am … Yours, was recorded at the Wynn during a July 30 to Aug. 2 booking. According to Billboard, the shows gave a much-need business boost to Wynn’s “typically slow” summer season.
The resort recently booked Garth Brooks for a five-year residency.
Beyonce is in talks to follow in the footsteps of pop icons and star in her own Las Vegas revue.
The superstar is negotiating terms for her own show at Sin City resort Wynn Las Vegas, according to company officials – fueling rumours a lucrative, long-term contract with the venue is in the works.
Beyonce appeared at the resort from 30 July to 2 August (09) this year while filming a concert DVD, helping to boost sluggish sales at the resort during a typically slow tourist season in Las Vegas.
