Vests for woman – an under garment typically known to be something the elderly would wear to keep warm, and not something you would consider to be a very popular fashion item. However, the vest has different meanings around the world. For the British, the vest is an item of clothing, slight in appearance that covers the upper body. It is often if not always worn underneath other garments such as t-shirts, shirts and blouses.
For women, vests have become an important item of clothing for many. It consists of two pieces of material, one at the front and one at the back. But, they can also be made from the same material all over such as leather.
The vest designed for women often have additional features including pockets which are positioned at the waist or chest. Fasteners are commonly zips, buttons and embroidery.
The vest is now worn by women over the top of existing clothing to increase the outfits sophistication and stylishness. Colours are often very simple steering clear of bright and gaudy colours and mixtures for general wear and fashion. Vests can also be used for warmth and they are made from thicker material to suit this purpose.
